Airbrush tanning is a new and safe way of
achieving a golden look without the risks of
skin cancer often associated with overexposure
from the sun or from a tanning bed. Using an
airbrush, a fine mist of bronzer is applied to
the body and face.
Once your tan is set, it lasts approximately 7
to 10 days depending on your lifestyle and skin
type. With follow-up applications, you can
maintain your tan indefinitely. Using
moisturizer on your skin daily helps keep your
tan looking great. Here are some other
highlights of personalized sunless tanning:
- Once the tan is set, the formula will
not rub off on clothing or wash off in the
pool.
- An airbrush-applied tan will fade
gradually, just like a "real" suntan.
- The airbrush tan is completely safe and
is FDA approved.
- Please note: The airbrush tanning
solution does not contain UV protection.
Always wear sunscreen.
- Airbrush tanning gives a natural,
golden-brown color. There is NO orange
discoloration.

Maintaining Your
Fantasy Tan
|
- Exfoliate your skin the night
before. This promotes an even coverage
and lengthens the duration of your tan
by removing dead skin that would
otherwise flake off.
- Wear dark loose fitting clothing and
undergarments to your tanning
appointment. The cosmetic bronzer may
rub off on clothing, however it will
wash out of most fabrics except for
nylons and silks.
- Avoid wearing make-up and
moisturizer as this acts as a barrier to
the spray and stops the process from
working properly.
- Shave/wax at least 8 hours before
your tanning appointment
|
|
- For best results, use Fantasy Tan’s
Skin Care Line when maintaining your
tan. These specially formulated products
will help you develop and maintain
healthy skin and a gorgeous tan.
- Wait at least 8-12 hours before
washing the tanning formula off.
- Apply moisturizer morning and
evening after your post-tan shower.
(Avoid moisturizers with AHA because
they promote exfoliation.)
- Avoid long hot showers and baths,
and scrubbing the skin excessively. Pat
your skin dry after bathing or
showering.
- Chlorine in swimming pools and
jacuzzi's will shorten the length of
your tan.
